EBook Reader Review - Obtaining The Top Reader Amongst The Top Models Available
eBook readers have changed the way consumers gather and view books, magazines and news. In this report I assess the top ebook readers for sale on the market today.
There are many criteria buyers should study when you review ebook readers. Among the top capabilities to analyze are screen size, screen type, battery longevity, recharge time, amount of storage, weight, overall size, wireless capabilities, and file types adopted.
In my analysis, I take into account the Amazon Kindle 2 and Kindle DX, the Barnes and Noble Nook, Sony's Reader Touch PRS-600 and PRS-700, and Astak's EZ Readers. There are numerous others, and we will assess those in due time, but my aim is to show the reader a tiny representation with an explanation of attribute comparisons so that they can enter the market equipped with some essential knowledge about ebook readers.
In my judgment, capabilities like the touchscreen, screen size and type and wireless capabilities should be your first consideration when looking at eBook reader models. The following thing to analyze is the notion that some of the eBook readers have hundreds of thousands of titles out there while other readers can only handle a few books. If the preceding features meet with your standards, then you should lastly consider price and support.
The Kindle and Sony options are placed very well by many online sources. The combination of features on these models plus the cheap price point makes them attractive models. All readers showcase the E-Ink screen. Only the Kindle and one Atsak model boast "text-to-speech" to allow the device to read to you. The Sony models boast a touch screen for a better interactive user experience. All models have a healthy nearly 2 week battery life with different charging times, but most are near 3 or 4 hours. There are slight differences in the file formats that each ebook model can handle.
